good produce! fun to find different selection of fruits not available elsewhere! now, if i can figure out how to eat "dragonfruit"
Unfortunately, Market Basket prices are becoming comparable to other grocers. I find myself doing a lot of non perishables at Wal-Mart and constantly checking the 3 major grocers for the best prices. The meats are the best at market basket, cat food award goes to stop and shop. Seafood, and fresh fruits and vegetables are tied between Shaws and Market Basket.
Best grocery store around. Has the same good food as other stores, just for cheaper prices. I give it 5 stars =]

Nice grocery store with excellent prices. Can get a bit crowded with long lines. There's a decent variety of food and some organic options. Organic produce leaves a bit to be desired, as I noticed that organic apples are sometimes either hard to find or look battered and bruises. The almonds and walnuts from the market basket brand also tend to be stale, so I buy nuts and produce elsewhere, but Market Basket is great for most of my other grocery needs.
